Outside of the local co-op mode, everything you play will be online with other like-minded soldiers. There's no campaign or single player offering to speak of. First off, be aware that Insurgency: Sandstorm is a purely multiplayer focused experience. So I might just get this on sale and have a bit of fun myself. I'm pretty tired of those Ubisoft games and want something more like this. not die in few shots, more gun blazing, just having goofy fun with a chopper etc) so Ghost Recon is more his cup of tea. Yeah my friend prefers a more casual experience (e.g. That's the best experience to have with this game. Recommend playing with randoms and with a friend if possible. sometimes just one if the AI scores a head shot. Playing Solo is pretty hard though sense you die in 2 to 3 shots.
